Project Example
The Marquette Hotel has 281 rooms including numerous upgraded suites. It was newly furnished two years ago, yet showed significant wear and tear. A typical room included a desk and chair, a side chair, two night stands, an upholstered bench, an upholstered chair and ottoman, and an entertainment center.
Scrapes across the side panels of the desks and night stands were common, as were nicks and dents in arms and legs of the other furnishings. In most rooms, a repeat pattern of gouges and chunks of missing wood to the legs and bases were discovered.
Tek-Smith restored the furnishings to "like new" apperance, averaging less than 1 hour per room.
